About The Position

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree + 7 years of commensurate professional experience in an operation focused on enrollment management and student success OR master’s degree + 5 years of commensurate professional experience in an operation focused on enrollment management and student success.

Nice To Haves

• A record of significant and progressive management experience in one or more of the following areas: enrollment management; admissions; financial aid; processing and operations; recruitment; university registrar operations as part of overall student lifecycle management; international students; enrollment and student success on the state, regional, and national level
• Understanding of the unique needs of elite arts conservatories situated within more conventional academic settings
• Understanding of faculty and staff roles in the recruitment, registration, advising, student success and retention processes
• Comfortable working with data; creating/guiding data models
• Familiarity with technology used to organize and present data necessary for effective decision making
• Excellent presentation, writing, listening, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates candor, balanced with respect and good judgment, when confronting conflicting opinions or delivering unwelcome news
• Demonstrated commitment to ethical behavior, honesty, and integrity in all aspects of enrollment management, including admissions, financial aid, and student recruitment.
• Ability to analyze complex problems, interpret operational needs, and develop integrated, creative solutions
• Ability to understand and articulate the institution’s mission, vision, and values related to enrollment and student success
