St. Francis de Sales School, serving families of preschoolers through 8th grade, is an authentically Catholic school, located at 38 Granville Street in Newark. St. Francis De Sales is seeking an enthusiastic and faith-filled educator for the position of Vice Principal for the 2026-27 school year. The ideal candidate will possess a passionate Catholic faith, a deep understanding of Catholic teaching, a commitment to classical (Catholic liberal) education, and the ability to help direct effective teacher formation. As a vital member of our leadership team, the Vice Principal will play a crucial role in fostering a faith-based and academically rigorous environment that aligns with the mission and values of our school.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Holds a valid Principal Licensure or is willing to obtain one
• Current satisfactory BCI & FBI background checks
• Have attended or be willing to attend a VIRTUS Protecting God’s Children training
• Completed online application for the Diocese of Columbus
• Possess a passionate Catholic faith
• Possess a deep understanding of Catholic teaching
• Commitment to classical (Catholic liberal) education
