About The Position

Join a dynamic team at the forefront of real estate, lodging, gaming, and homebuilding investment banking, where you’ll lead high-impact transactions and build lasting client relationships across the industry’s most influential players. As a senior member of our Investment Banking group, you’ll drive strategic solutions for REITs, corporates, and financial institutions, leveraging your expertise to deliver innovative results in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. As a seasoned Investment Banking professional, you’ll have experience developing strong relationships with REITs, corporates, and financial institution clients and working across different products. You’ll work on transactions across the spectrum of our banking products, including mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, and equity capital and debt capital raises.

Requirements

  • Prior work experience in an investment banking front office role.
  • Experience in training junior bankers
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with specific ability to communicate financial concepts and ideas concisely and defend their validity
  • Very strong quantitative and analytical skills (including Excel modelling and valuation work)
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines, and have the aptitude to synthesize large amounts of information and to develop innovative solutions
  • Adaptability, able to manage projects independently and be ready to assume a high level of responsibility as a member of a team
  • Ability to comfortably interact with clients in a professional and mature manner
  • Excellent understanding of financial, legal and reputational risks facing large integrated investment banks in today's environment

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing and direct preparation of detailed financial models, presentations and internal committee memos
  • Lead transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings, and other equity and debt capital raising activities across the real estate, lodging, gaming and home building sectors
  • Refining marketing/execution materials for maximum client impact
  • Identifying and managing risks in a given deal
  • Liaising with other internal and external parties on transactions (eg. lawyers, accountants, counterparties)
  • Maintaining a deep understanding of market trends and collaborate closely with senior bankers on developing and implementing strategic financial solutions for clients
  • Prospecting new clients, develop and manage existing client relationships, including relationships with key decision makers
  • Mentoring investment banking analysts and associates
