Department Profile The Fixed Income Division is comprised of Credit Products, Commodities, Interest Rate and Foreign Exchange Products and Distribution. Professionals in the Division assess and actively manage risk, trade securities, and structure as well as execute innovative transactions in fast-paced and constantly changing global markets. The Fixed Income Division is a market leader across a broad range of markets, with expertise in areas including client risk management, financing solutions and investor products Sales & Trading. Position Description The available position is a Vice President within the Business Control Unit, specifically within the Fixed Income Division and focused on Credit Products, including Municipal Securities and Structured Products Group (“SPG”). The Business Control Unit within FID supports the Division by managing operational, regulatory and franchise risk through a comprehensive framework of policy setting, risk identification and control implementation in response to market, counterparty, regulatory, economic and other factors. The individual will be required to work with various groups within the Credit Complex businesses, such as Investment Bankers, Sales and Trading, COOs and senior management, as well as other areas of the broader Firm including Legal, Compliance, Technology, Operations, Finance and Audit. The individual will be responsible for supporting the implementation and execution of largescale processes and projects designed to identify and mitigate regulatory and/or operational risks across the Credit businesses.
