Drive deal execution across various transaction types, including subordinated debt, senior debt, venture capital, and growth equity, from underwriting to closing. Develop robust financial models and craft investment presentations for internal committee approval, showcasing strategic insights and investment opportunities. Engage in ongoing portfolio management activities, including quarterly reviews, board participation, and follow-on investments, to maximize value and impact. Represent Advantage Capital on portfolio company boards in Director and Observer roles, influencing strategic direction and performance enhancement. Demonstrate expertise in negotiating various agreements, including term sheets, employment contracts, and other relevant documents, showcasing a keen ability to navigate complex negotiations and secure favorable terms for the organization. Continuously expand expertise by learning about program structures of economic development initiatives such as New Market Tax Credits, Solar, and Rural Jobs & Investments Act.
