About The Position

Manning & Napier Wealth Management is seeking a Vice President of Wealth Initiatives to serve as the operating integrator of our growing Wealth business. This is a high impact leadership role responsible for translating strategy into disciplined execution across the Wealth business. The Vice President of Wealth Initiatives partners directly with the President of Wealth to drive enterprise priorities, align cross functional resources, and build the operating systems that enable scale at the center of a transforming Wealth business. This role does not replace existing operational leadership or project management functions. Rather, it integrates and accelerates cross functional initiatives that require enterprise alignment, executive visibility, and sustained follow through. The ideal candidate combines strong wealth management knowledge, operational fluency, technology awareness, and the leadership presence to operate effectively across executives, advisors, operations teams, and shared services partners. This position is based in St. Petersburg, Florida and is intended to be an in-office leadership role. The firm may consider highly qualified candidates in select Manning & Napier office locations, depending on experience and business need. Periodic travel to other Manning & Napier offices will be required.

Requirements

  • 10 to 15+ years of experience in wealth management, financial services, or similarly complex environments.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross functional programs to completion.
  • Direct exposure to wealth management operations, advisor support models, technology platforms, and custodian environments.
  • Strong financial literacy, including experience supporting P&L reporting and analysis.
  • Systems thinker with comfort working across CRM and operational platforms.
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence across functions without formal authority.
  • Highly organized, execution oriented, and accountable.

Responsibilities

  • Enterprise Program Leadership Serve as central program leader across concurrent strategic initiatives including platform evolution, custody strategy alignment, operational optimization, and growth enablement.
  • Manage timelines, interdependencies, stakeholder alignment, and milestone tracking across functions.
  • Ensure initiatives progress from planning through operational adoption and measurable results.
  • Elevate risks, resource gaps, and decision bottlenecks to leadership early and clearly.
  • Wealth Platform Coordination & Execution Enablement Develop a strong working knowledge of Wealth operational workflows, advisor support models, custody relationships, and core technology platforms in order to coordinate initiatives effectively.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations leadership to support platform evolution, migration readiness, and workflow alignment.
  • Work in coordination with Operations teams to ensure strategic initiatives are effectively aligned with custody and technology partners.
  • Help ensure that strategic decisions are implemented in ways that reflect operational realities and capacity.
  • Executive Reporting and Decision Infrastructure Build and maintain executive dashboards across growth, operations, client migration, and financial performance.
  • Produce monthly and quarterly reporting packages for Wealth leadership.
  • Improve consistency and clarity of initiative reporting.
  • Identify operational and financial risks early and recommend corrective actions.
  • Shared Services Alignment Serve as a coordinating liaison between Wealth leadership and shared services functions including Finance, HR, IT, Legal, and Compliance.
  • Clarify ownership, timelines, and accountability for cross functional initiatives.
  • Help accelerate execution of approved decisions by aligning enterprise partners around defined priorities.
  • CRM Governance and Data Integrity Establish governance standards for Salesforce and related systems in partnership with Operations and Technology teams.
  • Improve alignment between CRM data, financial reporting, and operational platforms.
  • Support leadership in operating with accurate, timely, and decision ready information Budget and P&L Coordination Coordinate discretionary budget tracking and approvals.
  • Support Wealth P&L variance review processes in partnership with Finance.
  • Provide transparency into initiative related spend and resource allocation.
  • Help align resource prioritization with strategic objectives.
  • Leadership Operating Cadence Standardize leadership meeting structure, reporting discipline, and follow through tracking.
  • Track commitments and ensure clear accountability across initiatives.
  • Build repeatable operating processes that improve visibility and execution velocity.
