About The Position

ECU Health Duplin Hospital is an 81-bed facility located in Kenansville, North Carolina. The 15-bed emergency department serves approximately 25,000 patients per year. In addition to providing general medical and surgical services, ECU Health Duplin Hospital offers chemotherapy and other cancer infusion interventions and has earned national designation as a Primary Stroke Center. The Vice President of Patient Care Services will translate strategies into actionable initiatives that enable achievement of results that align with established goals to create and sustain operational excellence for health care entities and programs. This role leads the integration and provides ultimate oversight for multiyear strategies to advance the function, working in partnership with management and physician leaders to ensure that plans, operations, and patient care are aligned with the Mission, Vision, and Values. The VP is responsible for establishing, measuring, and achieving performance metrics consistent with ECU Health expectations and employs methods of change management to advance the organization. This position is accountable for a positive organizational culture and provides leadership and oversight of patient safety, quality improvement, best practices, infection prevention, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
  • Master's degree (nursing preferred) required.
  • 8-10 years progressive nursing leadership experience.
  • Active North Carolina (NC) Registered Nurse (RN) Licensure or compact state license.
