About The Position

The Vice President of Business Applications at Avera Health is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for electronic medical records (EMR), enterprise resource planning (ERP), and other enterprise applications. This role focuses on leveraging healthcare and business applications to enhance patient care, streamline operations, and drive innovation within the organization. The VP will work closely with IT and operational teams to ensure alignment with operational goals and to champion technology-based solutions that improve service delivery across various care settings.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Clinical Specialty, or a related field required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• More than 10 years of experience in a healthcare delivery and operational setting.
• More than 10 years of progressive, senior-level IT management and leadership experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Workday and Epic preferred.
