Apellis is entering into an exciting time with its first ever product launch in rare diseases three years ago, a second in 2023 in the retina space, and now a third recent launch in nephrology this year. The company has built a comprehensive set of services working with Patients, Caregivers, Healthcare Providers, Specialty Distribution Channels, and Market Access/Reimbursement teams in rare disease and will be doing the same work in the eye care market in anticipation for our next launch. The VP, U.S. Value, Access & Policy is responsible for overseeing a cross-functional team that includes all payer and provider access strategy, policy insights & implications, strategic pricing & contracting, contract operations and government pricing, payer and provider account teams, and trade. Located in Waltham, MA reporting directly to the, EVP, Global Commercial, this individual will have a high visibility role within the organization with a new launch in 2025 and multiple future launches expected. This is a highly strategic senior level role and is expected to be able to influence across the matrix including the Apellis Executive Committee and occasionally the Board of Directors.
