About The Position

The University Relations Recruiter will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with universities and colleges to attract top talent for internships and entry-level positions. This role involves collaborating with hiring managers and the HR team to identify suitable candidates, implementing recruitment strategies, and attending campus events to strengthen the employer brand.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in university recruitment or a similar role
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse groups of people
  • Displays excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems (Oleeo and Workday preferred)
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Capable of traveling to events and working extended hours during peak recruiting season

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement university recruitment strategies to attract top talent
  • Build and maintain relationships with university career centers, faculty, and student organizations
  • Plan and attend campus recruitment events (in-person and virtual), career fairs, and networking events
  • Develop new programming to strengthen BlackRock's Employer brand with campus level talent
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide suitable candidates
  • Work closely with internal teams to strengthen key strategic university relationships
  • Track and analyze recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies
  • Partner on workstreams and projects with global colleagues
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in university recruitment
