About The Position

The Vice President, U.S. Sarcoma Marketing is a crucial role within the commercial team. This individual will lead two brand teams and a field marketing team to deliver on our commitment to advance the commercial potential of our rare Sarcoma portfolio and ensure the successful management, execution and measurement of our treatments for Desmoid Tumors (DT) and Tenosynovial Giant Cell Tumors (TGCT). As a member of the U.S. Rare Tumors Marketing Leadership team, reporting to the Vice President of U.S. Rare Tumors Marketing, this leader will own the commercial vision and execution for our sarcoma portfolio in a fast‑paced setting. They will help to shape brand strategy across two distinct brands and orchestrate regional marketing to drive demand, optimize patient impact, and deliver sustainable growth. This role requires a strategic leader who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment, balancing brand strategy, launch excellence, and regional activation while building a high‑performing team. The leader will partner closely with the broader Marketing organization, Sales, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance and external stakeholders to bring innovative therapies to patients with rare sarcomas, establish strong relationships with patient, advocacy, and clinician communities, as well as promote the Company as partner of choice with major stakeholders. This role spans portfolio vision, brand life‑cycle strategy, launch excellence, evidence‑led positioning, omnichannel execution, and people leadership. Success requires deep oncology / rare disease acumen, strong cross‑functional influence, and a track record of scaling brands in complex, specialist markets.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in business or related discipline required, Advanced degree preferred (e.g., MBA)
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries
  • Minimum of 7+ related experience in leadership roles in marketing, sales and other commercial functions with experience in brand leadership, in-line marketing, specialty marketing, and P&L
  • 5+ years people leadership experience with 1 year managing multiple functions; Demonstrated track record of successfully managing and developing teams in sales, marketing and related commercial functions
  • Significant recent U.S. commercial experience, preferably in Marketing; Field experience a plus
  • Recent U.S. launch experience in rare disease and/or oncology strongly preferred
  • Understanding of U.S. Oncology landscape including Community Oncology and Academic Oncology dynamics, GPOs, Payer landscape, Specialty Pharmacy stakeholders
  • Experience in managing commercial partnerships and co-promotions
  • Strong matrix leadership and general management
  • Recent experience leading teams and self in high growth, fast paced, and start-up like environments
  • Excellent ability to engage, influence and navigate senior and complex stakeholders
  • Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders to achieve shared objectives

  • Ability to travel occasionally 50% travel required; including overnight stay driven by business need.
  • This position must be able to work East Coast hours.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor two brand teams and a regional marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Provide guidance and support in the development and execution of marketing plans for the sarcoma portfolio.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to drive awareness, adoption, and market share of sarcoma products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, medical affairs, and regulatory, to ensure consistency (where applicable), alignment and support for marketing initiatives across the sarcoma portfolio.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Support the build, execution and measurement of a fully integrated Sarcoma omni-channel strategy grounded in compliant personalization and next-best-action.
  • Define and execute a portfolio strategy that maximizes patient impact and commercial value across two sarcoma brands.
  • Lead portfolio positioning, messaging, and lifecycle planning, ensuring differentiation in a competitive rare‑tumor landscape.
  • Drive launch readiness for new indications and line extensions with speed and precision.
  • Develop a deep understanding of disease state, market dynamics, unmet needs, and brand/competitive data for Sarcoma portfolio to contribute to the development and evolution of market shaping and brand building initiatives; Provide thought leadership for market and therapeutic area understanding across all levels of the organization.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of brand positioning, messaging, and promotional campaigns for sarcoma therapies.
  • Partner with Clinical, Medical and Global to shape evidence generation aligned to claims, access needs, KTL priorities.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing programs and adjust strategies as necessary to achieve business objectives.
  • Ensure that all marketing materials comply with regulatory and compliance guidelines.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key thought leaders, healthcare professionals, and industry stakeholders to enhance franchise visibility and credibility.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, meetings, and events to promote the sarcoma portfolio.
  • Manage the marketing budget for the sarcoma portfolio, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve marketing goals.
  • Track and report on marketing performance metrics and return on investment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support overall team objectives.
