About The Position
Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is seeking a Vice President, Trading to join our team in New York, New York. In this role, you will be responsible for providing pricing quotes to clients, executing trades, and managing the risks associated with the trading portfolio. You will be expected to deliver on the budgeted revenues set for the trading book, ensuring that all trading activities align with the company's financial goals. Collaboration with the technology team is crucial, as you will work closely to develop and refine advanced quantitative pricing and risk management models that are essential for derivative pricing. Your expertise will also be utilized in educating prospective clients about pricing strategies and the effective use of mortgage derivatives. A significant part of your responsibilities will include performing detailed P&L attribution, assessing how higher order risk parameters change in evolving market conditions, and dynamically hedging out non-linear exposures in the portfolio. You will apply option theory and option Greek characteristics to identify higher order risks associated with mortgage derivatives and callable bonds. Staying informed about regulatory changes and industry trends will be vital to your success in this position. Additionally, you will conduct detailed valuations of investments to identify investment opportunities, generate trade ideas, and develop effective hedging strategies.
