About The Position
As a Vice President / Trading Strategist at BofA Securities, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in educating clients about complex financial structures and technical products. Your responsibilities will include developing new products and bringing them to market, which requires a deep understanding of financial markets and innovative thinking. You will perform numerical analysis of existing models, implementing and testing performance enhancements to ensure optimal functionality and accuracy. In addition to product development, you will engage in general sales, trading, and hedging activities, assisting in the origination, structuring, and modeling of transactions. Your expertise will be crucial in assessing market trends and providing quantitative data to clients, as well as conducting market and quantitative research analysis. You will be tasked with researching and modeling complex products, trends, and phenomena, including Hedges, Index Replication, and Alpha Strategies, utilizing large datasets of financial data. Your role will also involve executing portfolio decomposition, performance analytics, and risk modeling using Axioma and Barra multifactor risk frameworks, employing programming languages such as R and Python. You will conduct quantitative analysis of current markets, trends, and trading strategies, enhancing pricing and risk models to incorporate new market features or product characteristics. Completing execution strategies utilizing risk frameworks and multi-period optimization will be essential to your success. Furthermore, you will sell both portfolio strategies and execution strategies to various institutional investors, generating the necessary documentation and testing to support model risk management, ongoing model review, and validation. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.
