The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) is seeking a Vice President of Technology Programming and Education. This position is responsible for the design, development, and management of programming, events, and convenings for NAB Technology and PILOT-related projects and initiatives. The VP will work with the broader NAB team on strategic development and implementation of technology education and outreach initiatives. The role involves leading the strategic design and management of technology education events, overseeing the technology content strategy for NAB Show and other conferences, and developing relationships with external organizations to enhance member experiences.

  • Lead the strategic design, development, and management of technology education and outreach events.
  • Oversee the overall technology content strategy for NAB Show, NAB Show New York, and other NAB conferences.
  • Develop and manage relationships with external organizations and partners to deliver successful experiences.
  • Collaborate with SVP Emerging Technology on programming and content for convenings of broadcasters and collaborators participating in PILOT.
  • Work across NAB departments to determine needs for technology education and how the Technology Department can assist.
  • Research and understand issues related to broadcasting, digital production, and relevant technologies to educate NAB members.
  • 4-year degree required with 10+ years of related experience.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to be flexible and work well in a pressure-filled environment while maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
  • Event planning experience
  • Knowledge or experience in digital media or broadcast technology
  • Experience developing and managing educational programs.
