About The Position

Vice President of Technology Salt & Straw is a high-growth, values-driven hospitality company known for creating moments of wonder through thoughtful creativity, operational excellence, and genuine human connection. As we continue expanding into new markets and scaling our operations nationally, we are seeking a Vice President of Technology to join our Leadership Team and help shape the next phase of our growth. Reporting directly to the President & CEO, the VP of Technology will serve as the senior leader responsible for defining and executing a comprehensive technology vision that enables the company’s long-term strategy, operational performance, and evolving guest experience. The Opportunity This role represents a unique opportunity to build and lead enterprise technology strategy at a company where innovation, hospitality, and people-first leadership are deeply intertwined. The Vice President of Technology will oversee the full technology ecosystem — including infrastructure, enterprise systems, digital platforms, and data architecture — ensuring all solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with the needs of a rapidly growing, multi-unit business. Working in close partnership with executive leadership, this role will play a foundational part in modernizing systems, strengthening data capabilities, and enabling technology solutions that support both operational efficiency and meaningful human experiences.

Requirements

Significant executive technology leadership experience (typically 10+ years)
Demonstrated success leading enterprise strategy, modernization, and digital transformation initiatives
Expertise across infrastructure, enterprise systems, cybersecurity, and data architecture
Experience in retail, hospitality, consumer, or similarly operationally complex environments
Exceptional ability to partner with senior leaders and translate business priorities into technology strategy
Equally important, this leader will demonstrate a leadership style grounded in collaboration, curiosity, and a strong commitment to building trust across teams.
