About The Position

The Vice President, Technical Product Specialist & App Delivery II at BNY Mellon is responsible for enhancing and transforming the FX Post Trade technology platform. This role involves delivering new functionalities, improving automated technology solutions, and ensuring the scalability of FX post-trade processing platforms. The position requires active participation in technical discussions, documentation of requirements, and ownership of deliverables from analysis to production support.

Requirements

• Significant experience working on a 3rd party vendor platform, preferably Wall Street Systems.
• Hands-on experience with Databases (including SQL), Middleware solutions (e.g., MQ, Kafka, or Rest), and Systems Integration testing.
• Knowledge of the FX trade life cycle and experience with vendor systems.
• Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills to interact with non-technical users.
• Experience in software development or change team environment and Agile methodology.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience; advanced degree preferred.
• 8-10 years of experience in a systems SCM environment, preferably in the securities or financial services industry.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Agile methodologies.
• Familiarity with FX trading operations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver new functionality to improve solutions for the FX Product team and FX Sales/Trading users.
• Implement automated technology solutions to enhance scalability of FX post-trade processing platforms.
• Enhance, transform, and simplify the FX Post Trade technology platform.
• Take ownership of deliverables from analysis, design, build, and test through L3 production support.
• Participate in technical discussions to define future strategic architecture.
• Document requirements in Jira and Confluence.
