About The Position

As the Vice President of Supply Chain Operations at GXO Logistics, you will oversee the operational processes and ensure high standards across assigned facilities. This role is pivotal in maintaining quality management systems and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
• 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management in a distribution environment
• Demonstrated planning, project management, and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to partner with all levels of an organization
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

Nice To Haves

• MBA or other advanced degree
• Availability to travel up to 75% of the time
• Experience in an ISO environment
• Strong problem-solving techniques
• Strong previous experience driving continuous improvement and operational excellence in complex warehousing/logistics environments

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain operational processes and procedures
• Report on performance metrics and initiate improvements as needed
• Establish and meet site objectives in financial performance, safety, quality, and customer service
• Provide accurate and timely submission of key quality, financial, and safety reports
• Hire, train, develop, and appraise staff effectively
• Coordinate site activities through planning with departmental directors, managers, and supervisors
• Lead continuous improvement and operational excellence activities
• Drive a culture of innovation and success that values diverse voices and experiences
