About The Position

The Self-Directed Investing product organization within J.P. Morgan Wealth Management empowers clients to take control of their financial futures by providing a comprehensive suite of digital tools and resources. We focus on delivering an intuitive and seamless online investing experience, enabling clients to independently manage their investment portfolios with confidence. As a Vice President within JP Morgan's Self-Directed Investing division, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the digital experience for our wealth clients. You will be responsible for managing and supporting a variety of features that allow clients to better understand their portfolio and how their investments are performing. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and data analytics, to deliver meaningful enhancements on web and mobile. You will leverage your analytical skills to identify opportunities for improvement and implement innovative solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of investments related product management experience with proven track record of delivery of new products and features
  • Experience authoring business requirements, defining user stories and leading execution including bringing together cross functional teams within an Agile development framework
  • Significant experience with consumer digital product development, using discovery best practices and agile delivery methods
  • Demonstrated track record of adapting to a rapidly changing business environment, ability to quickly assess situations, act decisively and capitalize on change
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Industry involvement: staying abreast of industry trends and issues
  • Commitment and self-motivation suitable to a start-up team in a large organization

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in online investing product management a plus
  • Familiarity with an array of financial instruments and experience in self-directed brokerage industry a plus

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with design, engineering, analytics, and marketing teams to discover, develop, and build product enhancements
  • Design solutions to meet customer needs, informed by client insights from a variety of sources, and validate success with analytics and feedback.
  • Define and execute a roadmap that delivers against objectives
  • Create new experiences using discovery processes, and experimentation, informed by customer insights and data
  • Provide clear vision and scope documentation, workflows, detailed business requirements, use cases and other materials as needed to support UX design, development and infrastructure
  • Manage stakeholder communications to ensure business needs are met, set and manage expectations through effective written and oral communication
  • Coach and manage junior product talent
