About The Position

The Vice President of Sales at GoGuardian is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the go-to-market sales team and driving significant revenue growth across various territories and key accounts. This position requires a strong leader who can balance new business development with the success of existing customers, while also collaborating with other departments to optimize business opportunities. The VP of Sales will develop strategic operating plans, manage a diverse sales organization, and provide insights to the Chief Growth Officer and senior leadership team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sales leader managing large teams, preferably in K-12 and Higher Education.
  • Experience developing a sales-driven strategic operating plan for territory-driven initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and implement strategic solutions.
  • Expertise in sales process optimization, forecasting, and performance management.
  • Experience building and managing sales compensation models and operational rigor.

Nice To Haves

  • Edtech experience is advantageous.
  • Prior P&L or cost center responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership by partnering with key customer decision makers to develop new business and long-term relationships.
  • Oversee a large, diverse sales organization across new business, cross-sell, expansion, and renewal opportunities.
  • Develop and exceed sales revenue targets by collaborating with Finance and Operations to manage quarterly and annual revenue objectives.
  • Build key region and key account strategic operating plans to support territory business expectations.
  • Drive deeper relationships with key strategic and channel partners to enhance market presence and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Finance to ensure alignment and support for customer needs and business performance.
  • Establish metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to monitor sales pipeline and performance, providing regular reporting to executive leadership.
