About The Position

The Vice President of Sales Development at Lytx will play a crucial role in shaping and executing strategies that drive revenue and growth within the sales development team. This position is accountable for leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing sales team that is responsible for achieving execution excellence, delivering outstanding customer experiences, and meeting top-of-funnel metrics necessary for reaching revenue targets. The VP will define and implement a comprehensive operating business plan aimed at achieving the revenue objectives of the aligned sales organization. In this role, the VP will ensure operational excellence across the sales development organization by establishing clear objectives, metrics, and a regular reporting and accountability rhythm. The responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, and developing a proficient and motivated team that can not only meet but exceed assigned objectives. The VP will lead teams focused on accelerating mid-market and enterprise-level opportunities, developing a viable pipeline, and expanding the client base. As a mentor and leader, the VP will build and advance standard processes, sharing strategies, and capabilities within the sales development team. This role requires cross-functional collaboration, partnering with sales leaders and business partners to cultivate a cohesive approach to market expansion and business development. The VP will also implement innovative changes to improve efficiency, productivity, and performance, while optimizing reporting and dashboards to ensure that metrics are easily understood and accessible to essential team members. Additionally, the VP will stay ahead of the competitive landscape by proactively identifying customer needs and conducting ongoing market analysis.
