About The Position

You will be responsible for leading and driving the strategic direction of our Sales Development department, while fostering development, accountability and excellence within the team. This role requires constant oversight of Sales Development to ensure successful pipeline generation and revenue growth. You will collaborate with executive leadership and other department leaders to ensure the smooth and successful development of new and ongoing Sales Development initiatives.

Requirements

  • BA/BS or similar college-level education
  • 4.5+ Years in Sales Development
  • 4+ Years managing a Sales Development team
  • Experience building reports in SFDC
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including high-level interactions with internal and external contacts
  • Proven ability scale and grow a team
  • A history of consistently performing above quota in an outbound sales environment
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills demonstrated through superior communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Growth & Planning: Partner with Directors, Regional Vice Presidents, Growth and Marketing teams to develop and execute comprehensive pipeline generation strategies
  • Lead annual sales planning, forecasting, and execution to achieve aggressive revenue targets
  • Represent the organization at industry events to strengthen market reputation and expand network
  • Team Performance Management: Drive consistent achievement of qualified opportunity quotas through coaching, mentoring, and performance optimization of sales development representatives and the management team
  • Revenue Generation & Market Development: Drive new business growth and consistently achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Lead strategic account planning and maintain a robust, qualified sales pipeline
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand client base and diversify service offerings
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with executive leadership, vertical heads, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to design and implement innovative sales and customer development initiatives
  • Executive Reporting: Deliver comprehensive weekly performance reports to C-Suite leadership, providing insights on key metrics, progress against targets, and strategic project updates
  • Operational Excellence: Establish and maintain processes that ensure scalable, repeatable success across all sales development activities
  • Oversee proposal development and budget management to ensure client needs are met while achieving profitability goals
  • Ensure strategic alignment between operational activities and corporate objectives
