About The Position

Join our collaborative team in the design, manufacture, and sale of an innovative intravascular imaging system to improve cardiac care. Conavi Medical’s Novasight Hybrid System enables simultaneous imaging of a patient’s coronary arteries using both intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) technologies. If you would like to be a part of a talented team that is making a difference in healthcare, we currently have a new opening for a Vice-President, Sales and Marketing to establish Conavi’s brand in the US market through developing and implementing a sales and marketing strategy aligned with the company’s capabilities and goals.

Requirements

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in business, engineering, or healthcare
• Significant work experience in a leadership position accountable for building the sales and/or marketing capabilities of a medical device company preferably in cardiovascular or imaging devices
• Proven skills and knowledge in the development and implementation of sales & marketing plans and strategies
• Knowledge and understanding of medical device global quality, regulatory and compliance requirements
• Senior operational leadership knowledge and skills
• Impeccable integrity
• Exceptional ability to communicate verbally and in writing regardless of audience or medium
• Focused on planning and achieving results
• Demonstrates a collaborative approach with external partners and Conavi colleagues that instills confidence and motivates others
• Ability to engage in extensive travel including possessing the necessary government authorizations for travel in North America, Europe, and Asia

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the setting and evaluation of Conavi’s strategies and goals as a member of the senior leadership team
• Define and enact a reimbursement strategy
• Develop and implement a marketing strategy and plan for Conavi’s product including gathering qualitative and quantitative global market research
• Analyze competitive intelligence and trends
• Define and develop the brand strategies in collaboration with Product Management
• Develop and implement product pricing strategies
• Determine and roll-out promotional strategies and tactics (e.g., digital marketing, shows + conferences)
• Monitor the markets and assess plan success against targets
• Determine the optimal approach for selling into the US market and build out the company’s resources to drive that sales strategy
• Establish and maintain relationships with strategic business partners for the purposes of marketing and/or distributing the devices
• Manage corporate communications plans and activities
• Manage marketing budgets (capital, expense, resources)
• Ensure the legal and regulatory compliance of sales and marketing initiatives in all markets
• Provide leadership in departmental staff management (e.g., recruitment, performance management, training, and career development)
