The Vice President of the Rising Up Men's Shelter will play a crucial role in overseeing the operations of a 141-bed employment shelter located in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. This position requires a strong leader who can effectively communicate CAMBA's policies and program performance targets to staff, ensuring compliance with both internal and funder guidelines. The Vice President will work closely with peers in other shelters and external agencies to address client progress and implement best practices in program delivery. In this role, the Vice President will be responsible for setting performance targets for staff in alignment with contract requirements and ensuring that all direct and subordinate staff adhere to CAMBA's policies. The Vice President will oversee program operations, manage direct reporting staff, and develop quality assurance measures to guarantee high-quality service delivery to clients. This includes maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards and ensuring that client and program files are accurate and up to date. The Vice President will also conduct regular staff meetings, oversee training opportunities for professional development, and ensure that housing goals and performance outcomes are met consistently. Additionally, the role involves liaising with community leaders to build connections and troubleshoot issues, as well as developing crisis prevention strategies to maintain a safe environment for both clients and staff. The Vice President may also have direct client service responsibilities and will be expected to report significant events or incidents to upper management promptly.
