  • Experience in administering business continuity plans and crisis management protocols would be ideal.

Responsibilities

  • Business Continuity Management (BCM) – supporting the Business Resiliency Team to deliver the BNY Investments response to the BNY Enterprise Resiliency Office (ERO) annual BCM programme, ensuring the validity of BNY Investments data held within the ERO system of Record (FUSION). This work includes: liaison with global business areas to complete the annual business impact analysis work and the resultant updates to the business continuity plans; analysis of third-party dependencies; and completion of recovery strategies and critical vendor testing.
  • Incident & Crisis Management (ICM) –supporting the UK-based Deputy Business Resiliency Lead to deliver the BNY Investments global emergency response protocols, including taking full ownership of these protocols should a disruption occur outside of UK business hours. • Contingency Processes – contributing to the design, documentation and testing of bespoke procedures covering the loss of certain critical third-party dependencies. For use in a scenario where a third-party Recovery Time Objective (RTO) is breached, and related critical functions cannot resume. Contingency Processes primarily focus on manual in-house procedures that enable the continuation of the investment management process in order to fulfil significant investment/redemption instructions across client portfolios.
  • Recovery & Resolution Plan (RRP) – co-ordination of the annual review of the BNY Investments data held within the BNY RRP. On request from the BNY Office of Recovery & Resolution (ORRP) this work involves the review and validation of data mapping produced to show an inventory of all operational assets, third parties and critical corporate function services that would support continuity during a BNY failure and potentially be included in an eventual separation of BNY Investments from BNY. The maintenance of BNY Investment-related narratives in several BNY-Level recovery plan documents is also required. Note: as a Global Systemically Important Bank, BNY has a regulatory obligation to maintain a RRP for a rapid and orderly resolution in the event of material financial distress or failure of the firm.

  • Ensure all Management Information and adhoc reporting to other business areas is completed e.g., work volume statistics and trend analysis, reporting to appropriate oversight groups and executive committees. Provide input into audit and compliance monitoring processes (internal and external).
