About The Position

The Vice President of Reporting Product Development at ADP is a pivotal executive role responsible for leading the development of the enterprise reporting platform within the company's Human Capital Management solutions. This position involves shaping the strategic vision, overseeing product development, and ensuring the delivery of innovative software that empowers clients with insights to drive business success. The VP will lead a diverse, multidisciplinary team and collaborate with various business units to align the reporting platform with market demands and operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Business Management.
• Master's degree or MBA preferred, particularly in Technology Management, Business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 15 years in product development, with at least 5-8 years in a senior leadership role overseeing multidisciplinary teams.
• Deep knowledge of and experience in developing data solutions and Human Capital Management solutions, ERP, or related business applications.
• Proven history of leading a global team of engineers and successfully bringing products from concept to market, including experience with highly scalable and reliable software platforms.
• Experience in overseeing end-to-end production operations, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Experience collaborating with other departments like Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support to ensure a well-rounded product strategy.

Responsibilities

• Influence ADP's strategic direction by ensuring product development aligns with overall business objectives.
• Collaborate with Business Unit leaders to define long-term product roadmaps, feature sets, and development milestones.
• Manage all phases of product development from concept to market launch, ensuring that products exceed customer expectations and comply with industry standards.
• Mentor and guide a world-class engineering team dedicated to creating scalable, reliable, and high-performance products.
• Direct the technology architecture strategy for the ADP Reporting Platform to ensure long-term scalability and sustainability.
• Oversee production operations, leading prompt resolutions to operational issues to minimize impact on clients.
• Engage closely with customer success, sales, and marketing teams to ensure that products are customer-centric and meet market demands.
• Establish and uphold quality standards; ensure compliance with industry and regulatory requirements and manage comprehensive quality assurance processes.
• Proactively identify potential operational or product risks and collaborate across functions to mitigate them before they affect clients.
• Build a high-performing, cohesive team through strategic recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Drive continuous upskilling and adoption of innovative designs and technologies.
