About The Position

Vice President, RAMPP Quants, Royal Bank of Canada (US), New York, NY: Business Product Owner of proprietary/internal Financial Engineering Analytic System, which is the primary valuation engine for all Fixed Income, Currencies, XVA, and other derivatives. Design and implement tools used directly in the trading and sales teams. Collaborate with functional partners to ensure tools are properly integrated into systems and applications according to business requirements. Design and implement business processes in delivering change management to the business in focus. Coordinate the rollout process of deliverables, which includes the planning, testing, and implementation of strategic deliverables for the business. #LI-DNI Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, $165.000 per year. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field and 2 years of related work experience. Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following: Financial derivative instruments gained in a front-office trading desk environment. Business product ownership of proprietary Fixed Income and currencies derivatives valuation engine. Agile methodologies and QA processes within agile project delivery frameworks. Utilizing and developing derivatives valuation analytics and financial engineering. XVA and credit derivatives trading businesses. Change management for derivatives trading. Software engineering with a focus on Python and Excel VBA to develop and support working prototypes. Planning and internal consulting to lead working groups and collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve business objections. Must have the following certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner and CFA Level 1. The base salary for this job is $165.000.00 per year. This salary does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
