About The Position

FINN Partners has an immediate opening for a vice president in its Portland, Oregon office. If you are an accomplished corporate comms specialist looking to contribute to a high energy, collaborative team, working on integrated marketing and communication campaigns at an international agency, this is the role you’ve been looking for. As a resourceful self-starter and leader who shares FINN’s Work Hard-Play Nice values, a vice president in our strategic communications practice will have the opportunity to: Provide strategic counsel to C-suite executives as a trusted advisor, helping clients reach and exceed their goals Be part of a collaborative and highly skilled team, working with local and national B2B, finance and enterprise clients with an emphasis on corporate communications Work on integrated marketing and communication campaigns that reward out-of-the-box thinking

Requirements

  • A minimum of 8 years of agency experience and the ability to efficiently lead multiple clients simultaneously
  • Demonstrated experience in all phases of client service, including development of PR/integrated communication strategies and plans; media pitching; content development; digital, influencer and social media campaigns; project and team management; reporting and budget management
  • Successfully developed and implemented impactful, brand-building programs and campaigns spanning traditional and new media, social media, influencer, and digital platforms
  • Proven success in corporate, employee and executive communications with strong oral and written communications skills
  • Experience in media and spokesperson training, crisis planning and management
  • Passion for mentoring and helping junior team members grow
  • Creativity, ingenuity, and an initiative-taking attitude
  • A bachelor’s degree in public relations, business, communications, marketing, journalism, English, or related field

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in strategic communications for clients in financial or professional services industries is not required but is preferred
