Job Summary Comcast’s developer experience team, DevX, makes our engineering teams better, faster, and happier in the work they do. We know, too, that the engineering tools landscape is changing quickly with the introduction of AI tooling into the software development lifecycle. This isn’t just a technical change: it’s a change in how we think about our work. DevX is leading the way at Comcast to safely, effectively, and empathetically bring the benefits of these new tools to our teams and their work. The VP, Program and Product Management – AI, is key to delivering these benefits. This role will have a key strategic impact by designing and leading our programs to deliver beneficial changes to our engineering teams. Transformation doesn’t just happen.  It takes planning, alignment, and partnership both inside DevX and with our key partners in the overall Comcast engineering community.

Requirements

• A strong background in transformation , with aligning program management skills. Additionally, a demonstrable background of motivating and leading through change will be crucial for this leader .
• An understanding of the dynamics of an engineering team – not in terms of specific technical aspects, but from the way a team needs to work internally , and with its partners , to be effective.
• Superior communication skills ( i.e. active listening , elicitation , etc.) , alongside hearing and synthesizing needs appropriately , to build and support relationships across our business with varying needs , outcomes and priorities.
• Strategic thinking and adaptability, as well as strong change management, in efforts to build a flexible and strategic pathway to adoption and results with technologists, DevX product managers, and our partners.
• Proven experience in change management, product strategy, or enterprise transformation.
• Exceptional influenc ing skills — leads through trust and credibility, not authority.
• History of deploying tools or programs across matrixed or federated organizations.
• Technically conversant in AI tooling, Agile and SDLC (without needing to be a hands-on coder).
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and managing across a complex stakeholder landscape.
• Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, evolving AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, internal prompt libraries).
• Understand our Operating Principles; make them the guidelines for how you do your job.
• Own the customer experience - think and act in ways that put our customers first, give them seamless digital options at every touchpoint, and make them promoters of our products and services.

Responsibilities

• Senior-level position to create, lead, and engage with Steering Committees across the Comcast footprint.
• Lead and dedicate efforts for the adoption of AI into the Comcast software development lifecycle.
• Lead the implementation of a hub and spoke adoption and training model.
• Focus on execution and transformation.
