About The Position

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Production Services Application Support. This role is in Pittsburgh, PA, (4-day in office). In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: Provide governance for the Production Services group in the region, inclusive of the mentoring of new members. Resolve issues related to critical applications, servers, networks, and telecommunications. Build and maintain standard procedures and documentation to troubleshoot and resolve events. Work with platform engineers to reduce mean time to resolution and enhance the delivery of the service. Provide support and coverage for any disaster recovery or business contingency events. Perform routine System Maintenance, upgrades, and backups. Following established procedures and compliance regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree is beneficial.
  • 8-10 years of diverse experience in multiple areas of information technology required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
  • 12+ years of experience in technology support areas, including Network, Windows, Unix, and/or Mainframe performing hands-on IT Infrastructure & Application troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management and knowledge of payments ecosystem a plus.
  • Proficiency in Automation Solutions, Prometheus, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk and Python automation scripts.
  • Strong understanding of the Financial System and Trading platforms.
  • Background and experience working in an enterprise environment with ITIL Service Management disciplines, inclusive of Request, Incident, Problem and Change processes.
  • Experience with Lockbox Operations and systems support a plus.
