About The Position

Morgan Stanley is seeking a talented and motivated business analyst to join the Wealth Management Digital Client Experience & Platforms team. This role involves being a product owner for a digital agile squad, focusing on the development and delivery of core product features and experiences that enhance the client-facing authentication and security experience across various digital platforms. The position requires collaboration with multiple stakeholders to define product vision, manage the product backlog, and ensure effective communication of requirements for successful product releases.

Requirements

  • 5 to 7 years of professional experience in consumer or B2B web or mobile apps, identity and access management, or cybersecurity.
  • Experience within financial services or a highly regulated environment.
  • Independent and motivated self-starter capable of managing multiple work streams.
  • Detail-oriented, highly organized, and results-driven professional.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, including polished presentation creation.
  • Ability to think critically, solve problems, and build rapport across the organization.
  • Strong ability to document business requirements, process flows, use cases, and user stories.
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies, including JIRA and Confluence.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience required; advanced degree a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a highly regulated environment outside of financial services.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices.
  • Experience in user experience design or UI/UX collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the product owner for a digital agile squad, defining and delivering core product features and experiences.
  • Focus on consumer-facing UI associated with user authentication and identity/access management.
  • Identify and elaborate on critical user journeys, use cases, workflows, and business processes.
  • Build and maintain a prioritized product backlog, grooming and validating epics and user stories for agile sprints.
  • Lead backlog refinement and sprint planning ceremonies to communicate requirements and drive consensus.
  • Work closely with the technology team to ensure effective communication of requirements and rapid delivery of product releases.
  • Facilitate the product development lifecycle from defining product vision to ongoing management.
  • Drive definition and prioritization of product roadmap and release planning.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop requirements for products and features.
  • Prepare presentations, user demos, and status updates.
  • Gather and organize internal and external feedback to identify product gaps and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX team to develop information architecture and user flows.
  • Team up with program management to effectively organize and plan product releases.
  • Define and track KPIs and product adoption metrics.
