The VP Pharmacy is the senior pharmacy position that will provide strategic leadership for all aspects of Pharmacy covering clinical, business, safety, quality, and regulatory components. The VP Pharmacy will have oversight for all clinical, financial, and operational aspects of the organization’s inpatient, ambulatory- infusion, oncology, retail pharmacy, 340B operations and any contracted Pharmacy service arrangements. The VP Pharmacy is responsible for all aspects of this clinical department providing services to inpatients, ambulatory, and retail patients with a clinical emphasis on patient care, medication management, and patient outcomes.

Requirements

  • Pharm.D., or D.Ph. with master’s or equivalent professional degree in Pharmacy.
  • Current Oklahoma Pharmacy license
  • 5 years’ experience in pharmacy management at a major medical center/medical school environment.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English (Verbal/Written)

Responsibilities

  • Establishes the strategic vision across INTEGRIS Health for Pharmaceutical Care and successfully leads the execution of that vision.
  • Establishes and implements the strategic, working capital, and annual operating plan for INTEGRIS Health Pharmaceutical Care businesses. Ensures all INTEGRIS Health Pharmacies are aligned with the overall Health System business objectives and proper fiscal management. Has either direct or dotted line reporting for all Pharmacy Directors and Managers.
  • Recruit, retain and develop a highly skilled professional staff and ensure staffing meets patient care needs.
  • Responsible for the 340B INTEGRIS Health compliance, operational, and fiscal management of 340B mixed use and retail contract pharmacies.
  • Establishes and implements expanded Pharmaceutical Care businesses including Hospice, Physician Clinics, Provider based clinics, new businesses, retail pharmacies, ambulatory and employee pharmacy benefit.
  • Champions, manage, lead strategic business relationships that encourages risk sharing with key stakeholders with focus on agreed performance and financial metrics.
  • Develops and drives process standardization, consolidation, operating effectiveness and efficiency through the use of remote/centralized Pharmacist order entry and other innovative technologies and practice.
