Peak is currently expanding their operations department and is looking for a “ROCKSTAR” Vice President of Operations to oversee the day-to-day activities of the company portfolio, ensuring multi-state properties are managed and performing efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

  • Thorough understanding of practices, theories, and policies involved in property management.
  • Working knowledge of EOS Traction.
  • Superior verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Superior managerial and diplomacy skills.
  • Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Extensive and diversified background with at least 10 years of related experience.
  • Previous management of 5,000+ units in a portfolio.
  • Managed multi-sites, in a dynamic multifamily environment with assets across the spectrum from working class to Class A product.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Travel up to 20% out of state.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Responsibilities

  • Organizes and oversees the work and schedules of 3-4 regional managers with 75+ employees in total.
  • Oversees company portfolio, ensuring each property is reaching its goals set by property and company leadership.
  • Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business procedures.
  • Implements policies and procedures that will improve day-to-day operations.
  • Ensures work environments are adequate and safe.
  • Oversees company portfolio, ensuring each property is reaching its goals set by property and company leadership.
  • Plans, directs, controls, implements, evaluates, monitors, and forecasts budgets and cost of operations in each property to achieve financial objectives.
  • Improves customer service and satisfaction through policy and procedural changes.
  • Leads coordination and integration of efforts among operations with technology, accounting, and human resources areas to produce smoother workflow and more cost-effective business processes.
  • Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community.
