POSITION OVERVIEW: The Vice President of Technology & Innovation strategically translates enterprise goals into secure, scalable, and cost-effective technology solutions. Reporting to executive management, this key role will lead enterprise IT operations and information systems, drive digital transformation, adoption of AI platforms, and application development collaborating across the business to optimize technology investments and achieve measurable ROI. This technology leader will oversee the development of custom software applications that enhance both internal workflows and external client services, and the delivery of technology solutions that drive efficiency, compliance, and a competitive advantage across multi-sector business units. This leader will play a pivotal role in creating and leading project teams, driving efficiency, improving service delivery, and fostering innovation through the intelligent use of technology, ensuring systems are secure, reliable, and aligned with business goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Proven Leadership: 5+ years leading technology, digital innovation, or cybersecurity teams, preferably in enterprise settings.
  • AI & Modern Digital Workplace Expertise: Hands-on experience evaluating/deploying AI, ML, automation, and digital collaboration platforms, and affecting technological change in a corporate environment.
  • Cybersecurity Acumen: Deep knowledge of security frameworks, cloud security architectures, identity and access management, and incident response.
  • Customer Focus: Deep commitment to understanding and improving end-user experiences, whether internal or external.
  • Technical Fluency: Solid grasp of architecture principles, cloud platforms, data analytics, cybersecurity fundamentals, and emerging tech trends.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to learn and translate real estate business drivers into technology and security solutions.
  • Communication: Exceptional written/oral skills; adept at influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Customer Service Skills: Internal and external customer service skills with a customer first attitude.
  • Advanced Credentials: Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, AWS/Azure/GCP security specialty, PMP, or Scrum.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing and executing the company’s long-term technology strategy aligned with company objectives, while ensuring that day-to-day IT operations support the business effectively.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives, including the identification and evaluation of emerging technologies (e.g., cloud computing, AI/ML, data analytics)
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to identify and leverage technology for new business opportunities, improved client services, and operational efficiencies
  • Partner with business units to translate needs into scalable enterprise technology solutions with clear ROI and provide updates and insights to senior leadership on technology roadmaps, IT operations and performance
  • Manage enterprise data strategic initiatives, including data governance, integration, privacy, and analytics capabilities
  • Contribute to strategic technology planning, including evaluation of new tools, and adoption of emerging technologies across key functions throughout the company to support high-growth business needs
  • Define and implement an enterprise technology roadmap aligned to corporate strategy.
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of digital transformation projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget execution.
  • Oversee infrastructure, applications, and service-desk operations, utilizing continuous improvement framework to ensure robust business continuity plans, effective end-user support, training, and measurable service performance
  • Spearhead cross-functional technology projects, driving alignment with strategic goals and ensuring timely delivery
  • Manage and scale help desk support specialists and software developers, overseeing hiring, onboarding, and performance management to ensure continuity and deliverables across TAG business units
  • Establish a cybersecurity strategy to protect TAG data and systems, which strategy may include threat assessment, vulnerability management, and incident response.
  • Maintain compliance with industry regulations, internal policies, and best practices.
  • Oversee regular security audits
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive staffing model to efficiently and effectively leverage internal and external resources.
  • Supervise and mentor team members: managers, system admins, support analysts, and specialists, and encourage professional growth, performance excellence, and a collaborative team culture.
