About The Position

The VP of Global Supply Chain is responsible for optimizing the supply chain to meet customer and financial objectives. This role involves managing the people, processes, and systems that support supply chain operations, ensuring that materials and services meet cost, quality, and delivery requirements. The VP will work closely with various enterprise functions and translate the company's vision into effective supply chain strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a business or technical discipline.
• 15 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with 8 years of management experience.
• Direct management experience of a Purchasing Department with a large annual spend.
• Direct management experience of Production Planning or Master Scheduling in a manufacturing facility.
• Proven results in cost reduction via negotiation strategies and competitive sourcing.
• International procurement experience.

Nice To Haves

• MBA with a focus in Operations or Supply Chain Management.
• Understanding of interactions between Supply Chain Management and other internal functions.
• Lean/Six Sigma experience or certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee direct material purchasing and ensure an efficient supply chain to support manufacturing.
• Lead negotiating strategies to optimize results and address shortfalls while mitigating risks.
• Administer and manage supplier contracts to ensure compliance and maintain relationships with C-level executives at strategic suppliers.
• Analyze spend on indirect materials and services to develop appropriate sourcing strategies.
• Drive corporate-wide adoption of formal procurement policies and leverage total spend for cost efficiency.
• Partner with Engineering for new product introduction sourcing to achieve target costs and influence product life cycle decisions.
• Own the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process from an operations perspective.

Benefits

• Salary range of $215,000 - $275,000 DOE.
• Potential for Short-Term Incentives (STI) and Long-Term Incentives (LTI).
