About The Position

Vaco is looking for a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Sales to join a leading client in the logistics and supply chain industry! This fully remote position offers flexibility to work from anywhere in the United States, with an expectation of 25% travel. In this role, you will drive the sales strategy, uncover new business opportunities, and cultivate strong industry relationships. The position offers a competitive salary range of $150,000 to $180,000 per year, based on experience. Interviews are being scheduled immediately!

Requirements

  • 5+ years of successful port drayage sales experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational capabilities, and an entrepreneurial mindset
  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

Responsibilities

  • Utilize research and lead generation tools to support prospecting efforts
  • Build and sustain a strong sales pipeline, providing weekly reports to leadership
  • Offer innovative supply chain solutions to customers through a consultative sales approach
  • Develop and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders, ensuring client needs align with strategic objectives
  • Stay well-informed on industry trends and developments, with the ability to identify and communicate emerging market opportunities
