Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in sales and/or sales management.
  • 10+ years sales management experience building, training, and nurturing teams.
  • Results-oriented mindset, with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales objectives.
  • Deep industry knowledge and an extensive network of industry contacts strongly preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent analytical skills, including data and financial analysis to support effective decision-making and prioritization.
  • Exceptional negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Willingness to travel as required to establish and maintain business relationships.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook, and CRM systems such as Hubspot.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills with the ability to create formula, charts, graphs, and pivot tables.
  • Ability to learn and function as necessary with proprietary ERP system.
  • Ability to effectively utilize customer relationship management systems, preferably HubSpot.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive logistics services business development strategy aligned with Ace and ARCA’s objectives to achieve revenue and market share growth and diversification.
  • Define and implement tactical plans to achieve sales objectives for the logistics services channel in targeted industries, including healthcare and hospitality.
  • Build and manage a high-performing logistics services business development team, including recruiting, hiring, training, mentoring, and coaching members of the logistics sales team.
  • Monitor logistics services sales performance reports and key performance indicators to ensure appropriate resource allocation and effectiveness of logistics services sales strategy, adapting as required to achieve sales objectives.
  • Provide strategic oversight in the development of responses to RFPS, ensuring Ace & ARCA’s value propositions are effectively communicated.
  • Understand logistics services and commercial moving market landscape and trends, ensuring Ace & ARCA’s service offerings are relevant and priced appropriately.
  • Set the marketing strategy and priorities for Ace and ARCA, leveraging the external marketing consultant for strategy execution.
  • Provide regular reports to the senior leadership team highlighting key performance metrics and progress toward logistics services revenue growth goals.
