About The Position

Property Rush is building a more efficient way to operate residential real estate. Our work sits at the intersection of project execution, property performance, financial discipline, and customer experience. As we grow, we need stronger leadership across the systems that keep the business moving. We are seeking a Vice President of Portfolio Operations to oversee the operating engine behind our portfolio. This leader will bring structure across projects, property operations, financial coordination, and cross-functional accountability. This is a high-impact role for someone who can move between strategy and execution, strengthen business rhythms, and help scale a growing organization without losing control of quality or results. This position begins remotely and is designed to transition into a Chattanooga-based hybrid leadership role as the business continues to expand.

Requirements

  • Senior leadership experience in operations, portfolio management, real estate, construction, or a related field
  • Strong track record of leading across multiple departments or workstreams
  • Experience building systems, reporting rhythms, and scalable processes
  • Comfort navigating project delivery, financial coordination, and service operations
  • Excellent communication, judgment, and organizational leadership
  • Ability to balance strategy with hands-on execution

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional operations spanning project management, property operations, and business execution
  • Improve visibility into performance, priorities, bottlenecks, and operating risk
  • Create stronger accountability across teams responsible for asset readiness and portfolio performance
  • Build scalable systems that support growth, reporting, and better decision-making
  • Partner with leadership on planning, priorities, and operational execution
  • Strengthen coordination between departments involved in projects, properties, and financial oversight
  • Standardize workflows and operating expectations across key functions
  • Help identify operational gaps and solve root-cause issues before they affect performance
