The Vice President of Operations at Magnificat High School is a pivotal role designed to support and implement the school's mission. This full-time position, starting in October 2024, is integral to the Leadership Team, where the Vice President will advance the strategic objectives of the school by providing leadership across all operational functions. The role encompasses maintaining business operations, developing strategies to enhance management practices, and introducing efficiencies and financial processes that will propel the school's operations forward. The Vice President will engage community members proactively in the development and implementation of human resources and business practices that align with the school's mission, serving its students and families effectively. As the operational leader, the Vice President will possess a comprehensive understanding of financial and strategic management, human resources operations, and facilities management. The position requires broad experience across various business functions, including strategic development and planning, budgeting, business analysis, financial reporting, and information systems. The Vice President will set strategic goals and objectives that meet the evolving needs of the organization while ensuring alignment with the mission and values of Magnificat High School. This role also involves collaboration with the Vice President of Mission to integrate the school's mission and values into policies, procedures, and employee programs, fostering an equitable and inclusive community. In finance, the Vice President will coordinate financial planning, budgeting, procurement, and investment activities, overseeing the development and administration of the operating and long-term budget. They will ensure transparent financial reporting and assist other departments with budgeting policies and spending procedures. In human resources, the Vice President will collaborate with school leadership to ensure equitable processes regarding employee management and benefits. The role also includes overseeing facilities management, ensuring the physical plant and grounds are maintained, and developing safety protocols for the school community. The Vice President will report directly to the President and regularly communicate with the Board of Directors, representing the financial functions of the school in various committee meetings.
