About The Position

We are seeking a seasoned Vice President of eCommerce & Marketplace Strategy to lead and scale our digital ecommerce business. This executive role is ideal for a results-driven leader with deep expertise in marketplace management, marketplace advertising, retail media, P&L ownership, strong analytics skills, and omnichannel strategy across major retail platforms.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive eCommerce leadership experience
  • Proven P&L management across major retail and marketplace platforms
  • Deep expertise in marketplace advertising and retail media strategy
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in forecasting, reporting, and KPI management
  • Experience with new item setup, content syndication, and technical account configuration

Nice To Haves

  • Background in CPG, Health & Wellness, Beauty, Home Improvement, Kitchen & Bath, Smart Home & Technology, Sustainability & Eco- Friendly Products, or related categories preferred
  • Experience with omnichannel planning across Mass, Specialty, Club, Home Improvement, and Industrial channels
  • Proficiency in retail analytics platforms, and digital marketing tools
  • Demonstrated success in vendor selection, agency management, and cross-functional leadership
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA or advanced degree a plus

Responsibilities

  • Own and optimize full P&L across all eCommerce and marketplace channels including Walmart, Target, Costco, Home Depot, and other key retail and third-party partners as well as potential emerging markets
  • Develop and execute short and long-term eCommerce growth strategies aligned with overall business objectives
  • Lead marketplace advertising, retail media planning, and full-funnel digital marketing execution
  • Oversee new item setup, product content development, and digital shelf management
  • Manage vendor relationships, agency partnerships, and cross-functional teams
  • Drive omnichannel joint business planning with strategic retail partners
  • Leverage strong analytics to monitor KPIs, forecast performance, and optimize ROI
  • Oversee purchasing, logistics, and supply chain coordination tied to eCommerce operations
  • Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing eCommerce team
  • Stay ahead of emerging marketplace trends, technologies, and competitive landscape
