About The Position

Milacron is seeking a Vice President of IT to join our team in Batavia, OH. In this executive role, you will lead the development and execution of our technology strategy, overseeing both business and engineering systems. You will play a critical role in driving digital transformation initiatives, including Robotic Process Automation (RPA), digital thread, and the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), to elevate the company's innovation and operational efficiency. As a key strategic partner, you will ensure that IT serves as a vital enabler of business objectives, supporting both internal systems and customer-facing solutions. Relocation assistance may be available to those residing outside of the Greater Cincinnati/Tri-State area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, with a proven track record of managing and establishing global IT operations and procedures.
  • Extensive experience with engineering systems, business systems, and software development in a manufacturing context.
  • Proven expertise in driving digital transformation initiatives, including RPA, digital thread, and IIoT.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to navigate and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic global environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the company's overarching business goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to identify and prioritize technology initiatives that drive growth, efficiency, and productivity.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to the President of the Operating Company and the CIO of the Parent Company on all IT-related matters.
  • Lead the organization's digital transformation journey, focusing on the implementation of automation, digital thread, and IIoT technologies.
  • Champion the adoption of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to streamline operations and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Ensure the seamless integration of digital technologies across all global operations to maximize impact.
  • Oversee the management and optimization of critical business systems, including JD Edwards (JDE), Windchill PLM, and Salesforce CRM.
  • Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of all IT systems to support global business operations effectively.
  • Manage and enhance both internal systems and customer-facing platforms to ensure they meet evolving business needs.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Promote professional growth and development within the IT department, ensuring the team is equipped to meet current and future challenges.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technology-enabled business transformation initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment of IT initiatives with business objectives.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to keep the company at the forefront of technological advancements.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices and standards in IT operations, development, and governance.
