About The Position

The Vice President of Information Technology is responsible for but not limited to: Defining IT strategy, overseeing infrastructure, and aligning technology initiatives with business goals. Will lead the IT department, manage budgets. Ensure cybersecurity and drive innovation to improve operational efficiency and competitive advantage.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
Experience in IT management and strategic planning.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree or relevant certifications.
Advanced certification in relevant areas.

Responsibilities

Lead the company’s technology vision and strategy, ensuring that technology aligns with business adjectives. This includes assessing current technology infrastructure and identifying areas for improvement and innovation.
Lead and mentor the IT team, overseeing recruitment. Training and professional development to ensure the team is skilled and motivated. Work with exiting managers to build a team capable of supporting the company’s future growth.
Manage IT resources, including software applications, infrastructure and support systems. Ensure that technology operations are efficient, secure and compliant with regulations.
Ensure that sensitive information is secure and digital risk is mitigated. Establish and maintain adequate cybersecurity measures and compliance.
Develop and manage the technology budget, allocating resources effectively to support strategic initiatives and operational needs.
Working with existing managers, managing relationships with technology vendors, negotiating contracts and ensuring adherence to service level agreements.
Lead initiatives to leverage emerging technologies. Enhancing operational efficiency.
Work closely with other departmental managers to ensure that technology strategies support overall business goals and foster innovation across the entire organization. Bridge the gap between IT and business strategy, ensuring that investments yield maximum value, leading change management efforts to foster innovation.
