About The Position

The Vice President of Hospitality at Bon Appetit Management Company is responsible for overseeing business operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. This role emphasizes client retention, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and the management of culinary programs. The VP will lead a team, build relationships with clients, and ensure high standards of service and satisfaction across multiple locations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
  • 12-15 years of upscale food service experience, including 10 years at the management level and 5-7 years of multi-unit management experience.
  • Experience in personnel management including hiring, supervision, evaluation, and succession planning.
  • Ability to multi-task and concentrate amidst interruptions.
  • Ability to make business decisions based on financial reports.
  • Knowledge of HACCP controls and proper food storage and use.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • ServSafe or Department of Health certification is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret business records and statistical reports.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret policies established by administrators.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure commitment to results in client retention and satisfaction, financial performance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Direct business operations to achieve high performance as measured by the company scorecard.
  • Build and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Identify and communicate client needs and account progress.
  • Conduct and monitor customer, client, and associate satisfaction surveys.
  • Regularly visit clients and facilities to ensure satisfaction and compliance.
  • Deliver corporate communications and priorities to team members and clients.
  • Build an effective and results-oriented team within the region.
  • Ensure direct reports take action to correct issues at client units.
  • Develop and monitor realistic budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensure financial performance and client forecasts are met.
  • Participate in the sales process, including site surveys and contract negotiations.
  • Ensure Operations Team members perform their responsibilities effectively.
  • Conduct audits at all facilities, including financial, contractual, sanitation, and food safety audits.
