About The Position
BEDO Brands is a collection of brands that focuses on hospitality and the wedding industry, including Bon Bon Belle Bridal Boutique, Mercantile Hall Event Venue, and 10 South Event Venue. BEDO Brands is a growth-focused company with plans to add additional venue and retail units. We are headquartered in Burlington, WI and the VP of Finance will be expected to office from HQ. The VP of Finance is a Senior Leadership position responsible for overseeing all financial activities and ensuring the financial health and integrity of the organization. Reporting directly to the Co-CEO, this role is critical to the company's financial management and strategic decision-making. In this role, the VP of Finance will oversee all financial activities and advise the CEOs on financial strategy. This includes developing financial strategies and plans, overseeing financial reporting and budgeting, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, managing risks, and securing funding. The VP will also manage the accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, preparing accurate and timely financial statements and reports, and supervising the accounting team. Additionally, the VP of Finance will manage the company's cash flow, investments, and financial risk, ensuring adequate funding and managing debt while developing strategies for cash management and capital structure. The role also involves budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning to support strategic decision-making, developing and managing the budget, providing insights and analysis to support business decisions, preparing management reports and dashboards, and overseeing month-end and year-end close processes.
