About The Position

The VP Finance - Corporate Development is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic initiatives that drive long-term financial value for the organization. The VP Finance – Corporate Development plays a key role in driving the company’s growth strategy and investments and will work closely with senior leadership, legal, and operations teams to ensure the successful execution of corporate initiatives. This includes driving forward with the business on key Enterprise level growth projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of international experience in corporate development, investment banking, management consulting, or related roles.
  • Category/Brand and Channel experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of strategy development and successful corporate strategy initiatives.
  • Strong financial and market analytical skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong understanding of corporate strategy and business operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial software.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to define and refine the company's corporate strategy.
  • Translate strategic goals into actionable projects and initiatives to enhance financial and business performance.
  • Evaluate new investment opportunities and business ventures.
  • Assist in determining which opportunities align with the company's strategic direction and long-term growth objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships and alliances with external organizations.
  • Lead the strategic analysis, identification, and evaluation of potential enterprise-level growth initiatives.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify potential areas for growth.
  • Build financial models, including valuation models, to assess the viability and impact of potential enterprise corporate development opportunities.
  • Work closely with various internal departments to execute corporate development projects.
  • Assess and mitigate business and financial risks associated with corporate development activities.
  • Communicate effectively with key internal and external stakeholders.
