About The Position

Life Care Home Health Family is seeking a Vice President of Compliance. Your leadership and expertise will help us serve patients who need our care. General Summary: The VP of Compliance is a senior executive responsible for ensuring an organization adheres to all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role involves identifying, managing, and mitigating compliance risks, developing and implementing compliance programs, and fostering a culture of compliance within LifeCare.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in the Healthcare Field (Home Health, Hospice & Private Duty)
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution
  • Superior knowledge of multiple operational functions and principles, including finance, product/service delivery, production, HR and employee management
  • Proven ability to plan and manage operational processes for maximum efficiency and productivity
  • Ability to streamline and implement new structures and roles that create speed, efficiency, and support rapidly shifting business demands
  • Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and legislative guidelines
  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field.

Nice To Haves

  • A Master of Healthcare Administration is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements comprehensive compliance programs that align with industry standards and legal requirements.
  • Identifies, assesses, and mitigates compliance risks, including those related to regulatory changes and new initiatives.
  • Creates, maintains, and updates compliance policies and procedures.
  • Provides training and education to employees on compliance matters, fostering a culture of compliance awareness and accountability.
  • Monitors compliance activities, investigates potential violations, and reports on compliance performance.
  • Collaborates with various departments, including legal, finance, and operations, to ensure compliance across the organization.
  • Keeps abreast of changes in laws and regulations and advises on implementing necessary adjustments.
  • Prepares reports on compliance performance, communicates compliance matters to senior management, and guides employees on compliance-related issues.
