About The Position
Mphasis Digital Risk is a leading provider of mortgage solutions, leveraging cutting-edge technology to deliver high-performance services tailored to meet the needs of our clients. As the Vice President of Mortgage Operations, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing a comprehensive fulfillment team that manages the end-to-end processes of mortgage operations, including processing, underwriting, and closing. This position requires a strong leader who can thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while ensuring that production goals are met without compromising the quality and integrity of the loans. In this role, you will be responsible for daily interactions with Unit and Team Managers to monitor pipeline and quality goals, providing support to address any challenges that arise. You will also be expected to follow a formal change control process and maintain a strong sense of urgency in your work. Your leadership will be crucial in formulating and executing strategies aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, reducing turnaround times, and improving the overall customer experience. Compliance with all federal, state, and local mortgage lending regulations is paramount, and you will partner with senior management to define performance metrics, goals, and objectives for the operations department. Additionally, you will track and assess departmental performance against established KPIs, develop training programs, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork within the operations department. Handling escalations and complex loan scenarios will also be part of your responsibilities, along with collaborating with internal departments to ensure seamless operations and communication.
