About The Position
The Regional Vice President of Operations at TEC Equipment is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of dealer operations within the Midwest region. This position is based in Omaha, Nebraska, and requires a strong alignment of employee activities with the company's Vision, Mission, and Values to achieve operational excellence. The Regional VP will work closely with corporate staff and peers to enhance the customer experience while ensuring a favorable return for TEC owners. In this capacity, the Regional VP will ensure that every employee understands and has access to the TEC Vision, Mission, and Values, holding managers accountable for aligning their teams accordingly. The role also emphasizes the importance of customer exposure to these values, ensuring that the customer experience reflects the company's brand. The Regional VP will analyze geographic markets to identify precise market opportunities, staying informed on industry trends and competitor strengths and weaknesses. A critical aspect of this role involves defining, measuring, and improving the customer experience through various metrics and continuous improvement initiatives. The Regional VP will engage in the annual Business Plan process, set stretch targets, and coach managers on achieving results. Additionally, the position requires a thorough understanding of the impact of business activities on working capital and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. The Regional VP will also focus on employee performance management, succession planning, and talent development, ensuring that all employees have access to development tools and career paths. The role requires the use of structured problem-solving techniques to build robust processes and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, fostering a safe work environment and culture.
