About The Position

This role offers a strategic leadership opportunity for an experienced professional in market access and reimbursement consulting within the life sciences sector. As Vice President, Market Access Consulting, you will lead a team of consultants, drive client engagements, and shape the growth of consultative services. You will partner with clients to develop solutions spanning payer, provider, and patient access, while identifying opportunities to expand existing relationships and generate new business. This position requires deep expertise in reimbursement, CMS regulations, and the end-to-end drug development lifecycle. The role is highly collaborative, influencing cross-functional teams and contributing to organizational strategy while delivering measurable impact on client outcomes and business growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Economics, Business, or related field; advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) preferred
  • 10+ years of consulting or commercialization strategy experience, primarily in health policy or reimbursement strategy, with focus on physician-administered medicine
  • Proven track record in revenue generation and business development
  • Deep understanding of CMS regulations, coding, and physician reimbursement dynamics
  • Excellent communication skills, including strategic and technical writing
  • Strong leadership capabilities, guiding teams and fostering high-performance culture
  • Effective client relationship management, with credibility among internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to develop and enforce processes that enhance team productivity
  • Strategic consultation expertise, with knowledge of market access trends, competitive landscape, and client challenges

Responsibilities

  • Lead market access consulting engagements, delivering solutions across the payer, provider, and patient continuum
  • Drive revenue growth and achieve sales goals through client engagement, project oversight, and business development
  • Provide leadership and direction to the consulting team, ensuring high-quality deliverables for life sciences clients
  • Collaborate across business units to support strategic initiatives and operational execution
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Mentor and develop team members, overseeing onboarding, career development, and performance management
  • Streamline processes and remove barriers to maximize team efficiency and impact
  • Monitor industry trends and client challenges to inform strategy and client recommendations
