American Energy Storage Innovations, Inc. has a full-time opening for a Vice President of Manufacturing & Supply Chain in Hudson, Massachusetts. The Vice President of Manufacturing and Supply Chain is responsible for managing and leading all cost, production, quality, and delivery activities for energy storage products. This responsibility includes developing a growing team of experts supporting procurement, manufacturing, quality, and logistics. This individual will oversee global supply chain operations, forecasting, planning and procurement, production, quality, and transportation to ensure the company is executing customer requirements and creating strategic plans to achieve strong supplier relationships. The role requires the development of strategic operating plans that respond to changing business conditions, with an emphasis on customer experience. The Vice President will also be responsible for maintaining an organizational design that aligns with the achievement of overall business objectives and is responsive to customer needs. Compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to supply chain and distribution operations is essential, as is contributing to and reviewing regulatory submissions. The position will lead process improvements through various means including automation and process throughout the company. In addition, the Vice President will lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process with the Sales and Operations teams, develop warehousing requirements and capabilities to support a built-to-order Energy Storage product, and review and maintain the development of budgets for all activities within areas of responsibility. The role also involves leading and developing procurement capabilities to negotiate purchase supply agreements with strategic suppliers, leading quality efforts to use data and customer insights to address product and/or process improvements, and developing and implementing KPIs and activity metrics to improve performance measures. Achieving and maintaining relevant International Organization for Standards (ISO) management systems, including quality, safety, and environmental activities, is also a key responsibility.
