About The Position
WSP Advisory and Planning is looking for an experienced professional to join our team as Principal Consultant, Sustainable Materials, in our Digital Consulting and Strategic Innovation business practice. As sustainability becomes increasingly central to the development and management of transportation infrastructure, WSP is establishing a new program, "Sustainable Transportation Infrastructure Solutions," to help our public and private sector clients navigate the complex landscape of climate-smart materials and achieve sustainability goals across asset life cycles. In this role, you will lead our efforts to develop and implement sustainable materials strategies for transportation agencies, material producers, and contractors. You will drive the growth of our sustainable materials consulting services, leveraging your expertise in environmental product declarations, Product Category Rules, life-cycle assessment, environmental benchmarking, and sustainable alternatives for traditional construction materials. Your leadership will position WSP as the industry thought leader in sustainable transportation infrastructure, creating value for our clients by helping them reduce their environmental footprint while maintaining performance and cost-effectiveness.
